I bring together a unique blend of clinical expertise, teaching skills, holistic therapies, writing, entrepreneurial experience, family care, and creativity. For 30 years, I have worked as a Health and Social Care provider, supporting individuals with complex health, learning, and physical needs. My career began as a Learning Disability Nurse, giving me deep insight into person‑centred care. Alongside this, I trained as an educator, teaching numeracy, literacy, dyslexia support, confidence, assertiveness, stress management, and relationships across schools, colleges, and the private sector.
My journey expanded into complementary therapies — from aromatherapy and Reiki to crystal healing — and into personal development as a Heal Your Life Teacher, Life Coach, Metaphysics Counsellor, and Meditation Facilitator. For 30 years, I ran my own busy complementary therapy practice, where I also led meditation sessions and therapy groups focused on health and wellbeing. I also contributed written articles for Boots PLC, sharing insights on personal growth and resilience. Beyond healthcare and education, I ventured into the hospitality industry, owning American‑themed country bars, which enriched my leadership and people‑focused skills.


For 20 years I fostered children, offering both respite and long‑term care to young people from diverse and often troubled backgrounds, including remanded teenagers. Alongside this, my own family — two sons, two step‑sons, and eight grandchildren — has been a source of immense pride, joy, and inspiration, bringing with them a wealth of skills, knowledge, and love. Throughout this journey, I have been supported by a devoted partner of 30 years, whose encouragement and strength have been invaluable.
Creativity is another thread running through my life: as a pianist and singer, I bring artistry into my practice, blending music with healing and teaching. Altogether, my path reflects a commitment to empowering others — whether through care, education, wellbeing, writing, family, or community — to live with confidence, health, and purpose
